Class is in session… and this MIL is doing entirely too much.

Her husband is the only one of five siblings still dealing with his mother, and the reason becomes real clear, real fast. We’re talking favoritism between the kids, manipulation, lying, triangulating, and trying to get around boundaries by asking one spouse after the other says no.

But then it gets darker.

This woman allegedly told her son to hide his wife’s glasses so she couldn’t leave. Then suggested moving the baby’s car seat so she couldn’t take their daughter. And when that still wasn’t enough, she started feeding him lies about his wife behind her back.

The husband tells his wife everything and says he supports her… but he still won’t give his mother any real consequences.

So now the question is not whether the MIL is the problem. She is.

The real question is: if your spouse sees the sabotage and still keeps the door open, who’s actually failing the marriage?
