In this episode of OBK Reacts, we watch Trey Jerome tell the chaotic saga of his friend Daisy the booster… and somehow every new detail is worse than the last. This one had us stressed, laughing, and asking why nobody knew it was **** the whole time.
Class is in session… and this coworker was doing entirely too much.
A woman at work asks about a recent Europe trip, which seems normal enough. Then she starts asking what the husband does. Also normal.
And then she keeps going.
How much does he make?
No really, how much?
Millions?
What, are you not allowed to say?
At that point it stops being conversation and starts feeling like a weird interrogation with a side of envy.
When the wife finally snaps and calls her what a lot of people were probably already thinking, the coworker cries, leaves early, and suddenly everyone wants to act like the real issue was the word choice instead of the behavior that led to it.
So now the question is: was that unnecessarily rude…
Or was it the natural consequence of somebody refusing to respect a very clear no?
Class is in session… and somebody just found out where they really stand in their own marriage.
This woman hasn’t been on a trip in years while her husband travels regularly with his best friend. So when he finally invites her to come along, it feels like progress.
Until she sees the tickets.
First class for him and his friend.
Economy for his wife.
And when she questions it, instead of fixing it, he doubles down. Says he paid for her ticket, that should be enough. Tells her she’s acting like royalty. Even says economy should be fine for her since she doesn’t work.
That’s when everything shifts.
Because now it’s not about the seat anymore.
It’s about respect. It’s about priorities. And it’s about what it means when your partner is comfortable placing you below someone else and then calling you ungrateful for noticing.
She decides not to go at all.
And somehow… she’s the problem?
Class is in session… and this one went left with one sentence.
A husband helps raise his wife’s three kids, drives them to school, takes them to appointments, makes sure they’re fed and safe, and steps into the day-to-day responsibilities that come with building a family.
Then one night, he finds out their teenage daughter snuck out, took his car, and damaged it.
When he pushes for real consequences, his wife shuts the whole conversation down with one line: you’re not her father.
And from that point on?
He takes her at her word.
No more school drop-offs. No more doctor’s appointments. No more stepping into the father role when it’s convenient for everybody else.
So now the question is not whether what she said was hurtful. It was.
The real question is: if you tell someone they don’t get the authority of a parent, do they still owe you the labor of one?
Yeah… this one is going to divide the room.
