Groceries when he’s sick.
Dinner every night.
A kid who looks up to him.
And then one sentence changes everything.
“You’re basically my dad.”
Now he’s going on a date with the mom… and realizing he might’ve accidentally built a family.

Our Q2 Book Club pick has officially been chosen, and this one comes from Classmate Aisha who suggested it for the community.
We’ll be reading:
Sky Full of Elephants by Cebo Campbell
The book presents a bold premise and asks some big questions about society, identity, and how people respond when the world shifts in ways nobody expected. In other words… perfect material for a Class discussion.
Our Book Club meeting will take place in mid-May. We’ll confirm the exact date as we get closer, but we wanted everyone to have plenty of time to start reading now.
So go ahead and grab the book and start digging in.

A 33-year-old woman has spent $25,000 supporting her older sister over the years — bills, rent, bachelorette trips, and the dream wedding dress. The wedding never happened. The dress sat in her closet for four years. The sister moved out and didn't even take it.
Now she's fleeing domestic violence with nothing. Running out of gas, skipping meals, selling everything she owns just to survive. She notices the dress is worth double what she paid and lists it online.
Her sister sees it on TikTok and says she wanted to keep it for her 3-year-old daughter as a future heirloom. For a wedding that never happened. To a man she's not even with anymore.
